Andun dance From Bengkulu, Indonesia

Andun dance is a dance which originated from the province of Bengkulu, which was originally a means to find a mate by the young men and women who have not married in a region after the harvest is done at night with a pair of musical kolintong.Selain that dance is also performed when the baby Andun women have passed through toddlers (Toward The Right Kanak) or better known as Beterang.

Based on the history goes, Dance Andun very meaningful for the community in educating the youth for a mate search time has been determined that after harvest and should not be done on a regular day. Dance Andun currently used at the custom event and welcomed the guests of honor guests who come to one place like officials or state guests and tourists.
